Why Saatvik BESS
Reliability, Stability, Flexibility
Uninterrupted Power Supply
Store excess solar energy and dispatch it during peak demand, grid outages or nighttime operations — keeping critical loads running around the clock.
Grid Stability & Peak Shaving
Enhance grid resilience by balancing supply and demand fluctuations, providing frequency regulation and shaving expensive peak-demand charges.
Renewable Firming
Seamlessly integrate solar generation with battery storage to smooth intermittency and deliver firm, schedulable renewable power to the grid.
Lower Energy Costs
Reduce dependence on diesel generators, arbitrage time-of-day tariffs and cut electricity bills across commercial and industrial operations.
Scalable & Containerized
Modular containerized LFP building blocks scale from single-container C&I systems to multi-hundred-MWh utility plants, tailored to every site.
Safety & Smart Management
Multi-level battery management, integrated thermal control and real-time energy management software keep every cell operating safely and efficiently.

Grid Services: Balancing & Peak Shaving
Deploy Saatvik BESS at substations and grid nodes to balance supply-demand fluctuations, provide frequency regulation and shave system peaks. Fast-responding power conversion systems inject or absorb power in milliseconds, strengthening grid resilience while deferring costly network upgrades.

Renewable Firming & Solar Integration
Pair storage with ground-mounted or rooftop solar to smooth cloud-driven intermittency, shift daytime generation into evening peaks and meet firm dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) obligations. Saatvik designs the plant end-to-end — modules, inverters, storage and controls working as one system.

C&I Backup & Microgrids
Replace diesel gensets with clean, silent battery backup for factories, commercial complexes and institutions — and power rural electrification through solar-plus-storage microgrids. Customizable systems are sized to your load profile, from a single container to campus-wide installations.

Frequently Asked Questions
A BESS stores electrical energy in battery cells — typically Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) — and releases it when needed. Saatvik's containerized systems combine batteries, power conversion, thermal management and control software into factory-integrated blocks that can be deployed for grid, solar and industrial applications.
Peak shaving means discharging stored energy during the most expensive or most constrained hours of the day, reducing peak-demand charges and stress on the grid. A BESS charges when power is cheap or solar generation is abundant, then discharges during evening peaks — cutting energy costs without changing how you operate.
LFP cells offer excellent thermal stability, long cycle life of 6,000+ cycles and strong safety characteristics, making them the preferred chemistry for stationary storage. Combined with round-trip efficiency of around 95%, LFP delivers the lowest levelized cost of storage over a 15+ year design life.
Yes. Saatvik retrofits storage to operating solar plants (AC-coupled) or integrates it into new builds (DC- or AC-coupled). Storage firms up solar output, shifts energy into peak hours and helps meet firm dispatchable renewable energy requirements — all managed by a single EMS.
Systems are modular: a single 20-ft container stores up to 5 MWh, and multiple containers combine into utility-scale plants of 100 MWh and beyond. Saatvik's EPC team handles sizing, design, installation, commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance.
